Job Title: Senior Accountant (Industrial Operations)

Job Overview:

• We are seeking a highly meticulous and experienced Senior / Lead Site Accountant with at least 10 years of hands-on accounting experience to oversee daily financial record-keeping, petty cash controls, vendor invoice auditing, and inventory accounting for an industrial facility in Egypt. Reporting directly to the Director of Finance, the successful candidate will manage the on-site financial books, handle local tax filings, and supervise junior bookkeeping workflows.

Key Responsibilities:

• Daily General Ledger & Bookkeeping: Maintain complete general ledger entries, journal postings, accounts payable (AP), and accounts receivable (AR) using ERP software (Odoo/SAP/Oracle).
• Petty Cash & Expense Control: Audit, disburse, and reconcile daily site petty cash, operational expenses (OPEX), local procurement receipts, and contractor payments with zero tolerance for discrepancies.
• Vendor & Utility Invoice Auditing: Verify, match, and record incoming invoices for heavy power consumption, cooling equipment, logistics, and site catering against purchase orders and logs.
• Payroll & Shift Reconciliation: Review monthly site payroll, technician overtime calculations, and shift allowances in coordination with HR before final disbursement.
• Inventory & Asset Accounting: Perform regular physical stock counts of high-value spare parts, ASIC components, and equipment, matching physical inventory with ledger balances.
• Tax Compliance & Reporting: Prepare monthly VAT calculations, withholding tax (WHT) statements, and ensure compliance with the Egyptian E-Invoicing (الفاتورة الإلكترونية) platform.
• Requirements & Qualifications:
• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance. (CPA or CMA partial/full completion is a strong plus).
• Experience: Minimum 10+ years of solid accounting experience, with a proven track record in industrial, construction, factory, or site-based accounting.

Technical Skills:

• Expert proficiency in ERP systems (Odoo, SAP, or Oracle) and advanced Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, financial modeling).
• Deep understanding of Egyptian Accounting Standards (EAS), tax laws, VAT, and the E-Invoicing portal.
• Proven track record in managing physical inventory auditing and petty cash controls in high-activity site environments.
• Attributes: Exceptional honesty, attention to detail, strong numerical accuracy, and organizational discipline.
• Languages: Native Arabic and Professional Business English (Written & Spoken).

Pay: From E£45,000.00 per month
