Senior Accountant

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain day-to-day accounts and ensure accurate recording of financial transactions.
• Handle Tally Prime entries including sales, purchases, receipts, payments, journals, and ledgers. Prepare and maintain Trial Balance, Profit & Loss Account, and Balance Sheet.
• Handle GST-related activities including GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-2B, ITC reconciliation, and GST portal work.
• Manage and maintain e-invoices and e-way bills. Coordinate with the company’s CA for accounting, taxation, and compliance requirements.
• Maintain proper books of accounts, supporting documents, and financial records.
• Use MS Excel for basic accounting reports, reconciliations, and data management. Independently manage routine accounting activities and ensure timely completion of assigned tasks.

Required Skills & Qualifications

3–5 years of practical experience in accounting. Hands-on experience in Tally Prime. Strong working knowledge of GST and the GST portal.

Practical knowledge of GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-2B and ITC reconciliation.

Knowledge of e-invoicing and e-way bills.

Good understanding of Trial Balance, P&L;, Balance Sheet, and general accounting principles.

Basic proficiency in MS Excel.

Ability to work independently and coordinate effectively with the CA.

Good attention to detail, accuracy, and record-keeping skills.

Preferred Candidate Profile Candidates with practical experience handling complete day-to-day accounting operations, GST compliance activities, and coordination with external accountants/CA firms will be preferred.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month

Work Location: In person
