About the Opportunity

We’re seeking an experienced Rebate Accounting Specialist with hands-on Microsoft Dynamics AX experience for a 6-month contract with a leading global manufacturer of food, beverage, and specialty packaging products.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys troubleshooting accounting systems, improving processes, and taking ownership of rebate and incentive accounting.

What You’ll Do

• Review existing rebate and incentive agreements and evaluate how they are configured in Microsoft Dynamics AX.
• Identify and correct setup issues that are causing inaccurate rebate accruals.
• Configure and maintain rebate and incentive programs to ensure accurate calculations and accounting treatment.
• Troubleshoot discrepancies and resolve issues related to rebate agreements, program setups, and accruals.
• Establish and document standardized procedures for ongoing program maintenance.
• Partner with finance and business stakeholders to understand contract terms and ensure accurate accounting.
• Provide temporary accounting coverage for rebate accruals and related activities.

What We’re Looking For

• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX .
• Strong background in rebate accounting , including rebate agreements, incentive programs, and accruals.
• Experience troubleshooting ERP configurations and correcting accounting discrepancies.
• Strong analytical, reconciliation, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently, take ownership, and establish repeatable processes.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
