Senior Accountant

About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant with hands-on NetSuite experience to support multi-entity accounting operations, month-end close, financial reporting, and data management.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of general ledger accounting, intercompany transactions, eliminations, account mapping, and financial data analysis within NetSuite. This role will report to the Finance Director and work closely with the finance team to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting across multiple international entities.

This position requires working on-site at our Mountain View office five days per week

Responsibilities

1. General Ledger & Multi-Entity Accounting

• Manage day-to-day general ledger activities for multiple legal entities.
• Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and support schedules.
• Ensure the accuracy and completeness of accounting records in NetSuite.
• Support intercompany accounting and resolve discrepancies across entities.
• Maintain proper documentation and compliance with internal accounting policies.

2. Month-End and Quarter-End Close

• Support monthly and quarterly financial close processes across multiple entities.
• Maintain and update account mapping for monthly close and financial reporting.
• Investigate variances and resolve accounting discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Ensure close activities are completed accurately and according to established deadlines.
• Identify opportunities to streamline close procedures and improve reporting accuracy.

3. NetSuite Saved Searches & Financial Reporting & Analysis

• Create, maintain, and enhance NetSuite Saved Searches to support general ledger analysis, reconciliations, month-end close, flux analysis, and management reporting.
• Develop customized search criteria, filters, formulas, and result columns to meet accounting and reporting requirements.
• Extract and analyze financial data from NetSuite to identify discrepancies and support decision-making.
• Maintain reporting data mappings and assist with financial report imports.
• Work with the finance team to improve reporting consistency, accuracy, and efficiency.

4. Workflow Improvement & System Optimization

• Evaluate existing accounting workflows and identify opportunities to reduce manual work and improve efficiency.
• Improve NetSuite processes related to data entries, account mapping, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Standardize recurring accounting procedures, import templates, and reporting workflows.
• Troubleshoot NetSuite process and data issues and coordinate with system administrators when needed.
• Document improved processes and develop standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Support NetSuite enhancements, user testing, and implementation of process improvements.

5. Other Accounting Responsibilities

• Support accounting activities for entities' operations and audit requests
• Maintain accurate accounting records and supporting documentation.
• Collaborate with global finance teams to ensure consistency across entities.
• Support other accounting and reporting projects as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Hands-on NetSuite experience, including general ledger accounting, journal entries, data imports, financial reporting, and Saved Searches.
• Strong understanding of general ledger accounting, month-end close, and account reconciliations.
• Experience with multi-currency accounting and intercompany transactions.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• High attention to detail and the ability to work independently while managing multiple deadlines.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with teams across locations and time zones.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting multiple legal entities and international accounting operations.
• Experience with NetSuite workflows, custom fields, and reporting configurations.
• Familiarity with SuiteAnalytics or SuiteAnalytics Workbook.
• CPA or an equivalent professional accounting qualification.
• Experience in the semiconductor industry.
• Conversational proficiency in Mandarin.

The annual base salary range for this position is $75,000 - $150,000. Please note that the final base salary will be determined based on the candidate’s overall qualifications, experience, and relevant skills.
