Job Description: Senior Accountant – Concrete Company (NEW Company)

Job Title: Senior Accountant

Experience: 5+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a concrete or ready-mix concrete company
Software: Tally ERP, ERP systems, and MS Excel

Job Responsibilities

1. General Accounting

• Manage day-to-day accounting transactions, including sales, purchases, receipts, payments, and journal entries.
• Maintain accurate books of accounts and ensure proper documentation of all financial transactions.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Perform bank reconciliations, supplier reconciliations, and customer reconciliations.
• Monitor accounts receivable and payable and follow up on outstanding balances.

2. Concrete Industry Accounting

• Handle accounting for ready-mix concrete sales, deliveries, and customer invoices.
• Verify concrete delivery tickets, delivery notes, purchase orders, and customer approvals before invoicing.
• Reconcile concrete quantities delivered with approved site records and customer statements.
• Monitor concrete production costs, including cement, aggregates, sand, admixtures, diesel, and other raw materials.
• Track concrete plant operating expenses, mixer truck expenses, pump charges, and transportation costs.
• Monitor material consumption, wastage, stock movements, and inventory discrepancies.
• Calculate and analyze the cost per cubic metre (m³) of concrete produced and delivered.
• Prepare project-wise and customer-wise profitability reports.
• Coordinate with the batching plant, sales team, dispatch department, procurement team, and project/site teams to resolve discrepancies.

3. VAT and Corporate Tax

• Prepare and review VAT reports and supporting schedules.
• Ensure compliance with UAE VAT requirements and maintain proper tax invoices and supporting documents.
• Assist with UAE Corporate Tax calculations, tax return preparation, and audit requirements.

Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED6,000.00 per month
