WE ARE HIRING: SENIOR ACCOUNTANT

At Cleanfuel, we are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to support our accounting operations, with a strong focus on financial reporting, balance sheet accounts, and general accounting.

The ideal candidate has a solid technical accounting background, with hands-on experience in preparing financial reports, reviewing balance sheet accounts, performing account reconciliations, and ensuring the accuracy of financial records. A CPA license is an advantage but not required. We are looking for someone with strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.

What Will Be Your Role?

As a Senior Accountant, you will:

• Prepare and review financial statements, management reports, and other financial schedules.
• Handle and review balance sheet accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Perform account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies or unusual account balances.
• Prepare and review journal entries, adjusting entries, and general ledger transactions.
• Assist in the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes.
• Monitor accounts payable, accounts receivable, inventory, and other general ledger accounts as assigned.
• Analyze financial data and account balances to identify variances and potential issues.
• Ensure that financial transactions are properly recorded and supported by complete documentation.
• Maintain accurate accounting records in accordance with applicable accounting standards and company policies.
• Assist in preparing schedules and supporting documents for internal and external audits.
• Coordinate with other departments to obtain necessary financial information and resolve accounting concerns.
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting procedures, reporting accuracy, and internal controls.
• Ensure that accounting tasks and financial reports are completed accurately and within established deadlines.
• Support the Accounting Manager and other members of the Finance team in various accounting and reporting requirements.

What You Bring to the Table

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• At least 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in a corporate environment.
• CPA license is an advantage but not required.
• Hands-on experience in preparing financial statements and financial reports.
• Strong knowledge of balance sheet accounts, general ledger, and account reconciliation.
• Good understanding of monthly closing procedures, journal entries, and financial reporting requirements.
• Ability to analyze account balances, investigate discrepancies, and ensure the accuracy of financial records.
• Experience using accounting software or ERP systems, preferably SAP.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• High level of accuracy, integrity, accountability, and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet reporting deadlines.
• Good communication and coordination skills.

Must Haves

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems or ERP software.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and deliver accurate reports within deadlines.
• Willingness to collaborate with the Accounting Manager and other departments.
• CPA license is not required.
