Senior Accountant

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to manage accounting operations, financial reporting, and statutory compliance. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of accounting principles, GST, TDS, and accounting software.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including purchase, sales, journal, and payment entries.
• Maintain books of accounts and ensure accurate recording of financial transactions.
• Handle GST returns, including GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B, along with GST reconciliations.
• Manage TDS calculations, deductions, returns, and related compliance.
• Perform bank reconciliation, ledger reconciliation, and balance sheet reconciliation.
• Handle accounts payable, accounts receivable, and vendor/customer account management.
• Prepare monthly financial statements, MIS reports, and other accounting summaries.
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing and finalization of accounts.
• Coordinate with auditors, clients, and internal teams for accounting and compliance-related matters.
• Ensure timely completion of statutory filings and maintain proper financial documentation.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 2-5 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, GST, TDS, and statutory compliance.
• Proficiency in Tally Prime and MS Excel.
• Experience in bank reconciliation, ledger scrutiny, and accounts finalization.
• Good analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple accounting tasks and meet deadlines.
