ABOUT THE ROLE

Bilal Arsalan & Co. – Chartered Accountants is looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join its team. The ideal candidate should have strong accounting knowledge, practical experience in financial reporting, reconciliations, and ledger management, along with the ability to manage accounting operations independently and ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial records.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including bookkeeping and recording financial transactions.
• Prepare and review financial statements, general ledgers, trial balances, and supporting schedules.
• Perform bank reconciliations and oversee accounts payable and receivable.
• Review invoices, receipts, payments, journal entries, and other accounting records for accuracy.
• Handle month-end and year-end closing activities and ensure timely completion.
• Monitor financial transactions and investigate discrepancies, ensuring proper accounting treatment.
• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and internal policies.
• Coordinate with clients and internal teams regarding accounting records, documentation, and financial information.
• Assist in preparing financial reports, management accounts, and other required financial analyses.
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, internal controls, and reporting procedures.

REQUIRED CANDIDATE PROFILE

• ACCA / CA / B.Com / BS in Accounting or a relevant qualification.
• 3–4 years of relevant experience in accounting and financial reporting.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, bookkeeping, reconciliations, and financial statements.
• Hands-on experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or similar platforms.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and maintain accuracy in financial records.
• Good communication and coordination skills.

Pay: Rs70,000.00 - Rs100,000.00 per month
