Senior Accountant / Internal Controller

About the role

We are seeking a detail-oriented, proactive, and independent Senior Accountant / Internal Controller to join our team in Bangkok. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing internal financial operations, conducting pre-payment audits on operational orders, and maintaining strict internal controls. You will also serve as the primary internal liaison with our external accounting firm to ensure full tax compliance and accuracy in financial reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Review and verify all sales orders, supplier invoices, payment vouchers, and expense claims prior to authorization and payment release
• Audit and review monthly, quarterly, and annual tax filings (PP.30, PND 1, 3, 53, 50) and financial statements prepared by the outsourced accounting firm
• Establish and enforce robust internal control procedures to prevent errors, fraud, and budget variances
• Perform daily and monthly bank reconciliations, inventory/sales matching, and internal reporting
• Provide independent financial insights, identify tax optimization opportunities, and support a smooth future transition to new external accounting service providers

About you

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 2–4 years of experience in Accounting, Internal Audit, or External Audit (experience working with an Audit/Accounting firm is highly desirable)
• Strong understanding of Thai tax laws (VAT, Withholding Tax, Corporate Income Tax) and accounting principles
• High level of integrity, strong analytical mindset, and strict attention to detail
• Excellent command of written and spoken Thai, with good working proficiency in English
• Ability to work independently without requiring constant supervision
