Senior Accountant – International Reporting

About the role

KCE Electronics is seeking a Senior Accountant to take full ownership of the management accounting and financial reporting function for our UK subsidiary, International Circuits Limited (ICL). This role brings in-house a function currently supported externally, and offers significant exposure to cross-border finance operations, multi-currency accounting, and group consolidation.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain the General Ledger and manage the full month-end close cycle
• Post month-end journals: accruals (payroll, bonuses, subcontractors, suppliers), prepayments, depreciation, and lease accounting adjustments
• Perform FX revaluation and gain/loss calculations; manage multi-currency accounting
• Reconcile VAT control accounts and payroll, pension, and National Insurance control accounts
• Maintain supporting schedules and audit trail documentation
• Prepare monthly Trial Balance, Profit & Loss Statement, and Balance Sheet with supporting data
• Deliver quarterly financial reporting packages, including balance sheet ageing review and key control account analysis
• Provide supporting transaction data for group consolidation on a timely basis
• Prepare year-end schedules and reconciliations, including accrual/prepayment reviews, lease liability roll-forwards, and fixed asset schedules
• Coordinate with UK-appointed accountants and external auditors; respond to audit queries

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting; CPD license in good standing
• 5–8 years of accounting experience, including full-cycle month-end close ownership
• Strong knowledge of IFRS; experience with multi-currency accounting and FX revaluation
• Hands-on experience preparing management reports (TB, P&L, BS) and audit support schedules
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, financial modelling)
• Good command of written and spoken English
• CPA (Thailand), ACCA, or equivalent professional qualification (or in progress) — preferred
• Experience with ERP systems and cloud accounting platforms (e.g., Xero, Sage, SAP, Oracle) — preferred
• Prior experience working across time zones or with overseas entities — preferred
• Available to work on some Saturdays.
