Senior Accountant - Technical Accounting

We are seeking a Senior Accountant to join a fast-growing, private equity-backed organization in a hands-on role with significant exposure to technical accounting, systems implementation, and process improvement. Reporting to the Controller, this position offers the opportunity to help build and scale accounting operations as the business continues to expand.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare journal entries, accruals, and balance sheet reconciliations while supporting month-end and year-end close.
• Manage fixed assets, construction-in-progress, and lease accounting under ASC 842.
• Support multi-entity accounting, consolidations, acquisitions, and audit readiness.
• Assist with ERP implementation and the transition to GAAP accrual-basis financial reporting.
• Improve accounting processes, internal controls, and reporting workflows.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required; CPA or progress toward CPA preferred.
• Strong technical accounting knowledge
• Experience with a cloud-based ERP; Sage Intacct preferred.
• Background in a high-growth, private equity-backed, or multi-entity organization is a plus.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
