Senior Accountant (up $6,000)

Location: Central
Working Hours: Mon to Fri, 9am - 6pm
Salary: up $6,000 basic + VB + Transport allowance

Duties:
Financial Close & Entity Management

• Manage month-end and year-end closing for assigned entities.
• Prepare and review journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, deferrals, and balance sheet schedules.
• Maintain the general ledger and ensure compliance with group and statutory requirements.
• Partner with business teams to analyze financial performance, variances, and trends.
• Drive process improvements through automation and system enhancements.
• Perform revenue and expense analysis and provide financial insights.

Compliance, Reporting & Audit

• Ensure compliance with IFRS/local accounting standards and maintain strong internal controls.
• Prepare management and statutory financial reports.
• Coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors during audits.
• Support tax and statutory filings, including corporate income tax and GST/VAT.

Business Partnership & Process Improvement

• Support budgeting, forecasting, and performance tracking.
• Identify and implement process improvements using systems and automation tools.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business initiatives and entity structuring.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business.
• CPA, ACCA, CA, or equivalent is a MUST.
• Minimum 3 years of accounting experience, including financial close responsibilities.
• Audit or Big 4 experience is advantageous.
• Experience with NetSuite or other ERP systems is a plus.
• Exposure to fintech, technology, or multi-entity environments is preferred.
• Strong accounting knowledge, analytical skills, and stakeholder management abilities.
• Detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment.
