Senior Accountant – U.S. Accounting Operations

Position Overview

SyRVN is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to manage the complete accounting lifecycle for our U.S.-based clients. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Deltek Costpoint and QuickBooks and will play an important role in supporting the planned migration from Costpoint to QuickBooks.

This is a long-term opportunity for someone who can independently manage accounting operations while communicating effectively with U.S. clients and internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

· Manage the complete accounting lifecycle for U.S.-based clients.

· Perform day-to-day bookkeeping and maintain accurate financial records.

· Manage accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR).

· Process payroll and maintain supporting payroll records.

· Perform bank, credit card, and general ledger reconciliations.

· Prepare journal entries, accruals, and account adjustments.

· Support monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial closing activities.

· Prepare financial statements, management reports, and cash-flow updates.

· Track client invoices, collections, vendor payments, and outstanding balances.

· Review accounting records for accuracy, completeness, and compliance.

· Support the migration of accounting data and processes from Deltek Costpoint to QuickBooks.

· Assist with data validation, account mapping, opening balances, and reconciliation during the migration.

· Coordinate directly with U.S. clients to resolve accounting questions and provide timely updates.

· Maintain proper documentation and support audit, tax, and compliance requirements as needed.

Required Qualifications

· Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.

· Relevant experience managing end-to-end accounting operations.

· Strong working knowledge of Deltek Costpoint and QuickBooks.

· Hands-on experience with bookkeeping, payroll, AR, AP, reconciliations, and financial reporting.

· Understanding of accounting practices applicable to U.S.-based businesses.

· Experience with accounting system migration or data conversion is strongly preferred.

· Strong attention to detail, analytical ability, and problem-solving skills.

· Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and take ownership of assigned responsibilities.

· Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.

· Confidence in communicating directly with U.S. clients.

· Ability and willingness to work hours aligned with the U.S. Eastern Time zone.

Preferred Skills

· Experience supporting U.S. government contractors or professional-services companies.

· Knowledge of project accounting, timekeeping, billing, indirect costs, and cost allocation.

· Experience preparing accounting schedules and supporting audits or tax filings.

· Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Pay: ₹1,000,000.00 - ₹1,400,000.00 per year
