Senior Accounting Analyst

Position Summary

Are you looking for more than a traditional accounting role? Our client is seeking a Senior Accounting Analyst who wants to expand beyond financial reporting and gain meaningful exposure to FP&A, financial modeling, business partnering, and acquisitions. This is a high-visibility opportunity to work closely with leadership, influence business decisions, and develop a well-rounded finance skill set.

Role Responsibilities:

• Support month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and management reporting
• Analyze financial performance trends and key business metrics
• Manage intercompany accounting activities across multiple entities
• Support acquisition due diligence and integration-related initiatives
• Partner with operational leaders to drive financial and process improvements
• Participate in system enhancements, reporting automation, and special projects

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or other relevant fields of study
• 5+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience
• Experience with financial reporting, FP&A, and general ledger accounting
• Strong Excel and financial modeling skills
• Experience in a multi-entity environment
• Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving abilities are required
• Exposure to acquisitions, consolidations, and intercompany accounting is preferred
• Industry experience in energy, industrial, manufacturing, or distribution is preferred
• Experience with ERP systems and process improvement initiatives is also preferred
