About the Role

As a Senior Associate 1, you will lead mid-level client engagements, oversee financial reporting, ensure strict compliance, and guide junior team members while honing your client advisory and financial consulting capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Financial Reporting & Client Deliverables: Lead the preparation and analysis of financial statements in compliance with IFRS, PFRS, and tax regulations. Review monthly, quarterly, and annual reports, oversee payroll/AP/AR reporting, and guide client accounting system setups and government processes.

• Financial Advisory & Consulting: Conduct financial health assessments, trend analyses, cash flow forecasting, budgeting support, and cost optimization recommendations for clients.

• Leadership & Mentorship: Review work (reconciliations and deliverables) completed by Junior Associates, conduct training, and mentor junior staff to build their technical expertise.

• Client & Engagement Management: Act as the primary point of contact for assigned engagements, maintaining strong relationships and supporting business development efforts (e.g., preparing client proposals and engagement letters).

• Process & Compliance: Identify and implement workflow efficiencies using accounting technology, ensure proper audit trails, and prepare client records for external audits.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Experience: 3–5 years of experience in accounting, financial reporting, or financial consulting with direct client engagement exposure.

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business.

• Certification: CPA required. (CMA, CFA, or MBA is a strong advantage).

• Technical Knowledge: In-depth understanding of IFRS, PFRS, and Philippine tax regulations.

• Key Skills: Strong proficiency in financial statement preparation, variance analysis, financial modeling, process optimization, client relationship management, and junior staff mentorship.
