Senior Accounting

About the role

This role is for someone who can own the numbers, support the team, and keep client work moving on time. As a Senior Accounting professional at GMP Consulting, you will deliver accurate, high-quality work for our clients.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare accurate monthly and annual financial reports for clients
• Keep general ledger and subsidiary ledgers updated, reconciled, and reliable
• Deliver financial information on time
• Lead and develop team members, with clear accountability
• Support the manager on client assignments and service delivery
• Handle other accounting and finance tasks as needed

About you

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, minimum GPA 3.50
• At least 2 years of bookkeeping experience, preferably in an accounting firm
• Required experience with Xero and Journal Software
• Advanced Microsoft Excel (functions, pivot tables, data analysis)
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Able to multitask and meet tight deadlines
• High professional integrity
• Fluent English (written and spoken)
