What the Role Is

• Reporting directly to the CFO, this individual will manage day-to-day accounting operations, financial close and reporting, internal controls, inventory and cost accounting, and a lean accounting team.
• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes and ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in accordance with U.S. GAAP, manage the general ledger, oversee reconciliations, journal entries, accruals, fixed assets, payroll accounting, AP and AR.
• Prepare and review financial statements, account analyses, management reporting, manage inventory and cost accounting, including inventory valuation, WIP, standard costing, COGS, manufacturing variances, and inventory reserves.
• Partner with Operations and Supply Chain on accounting for foundry, OSAT, engineering, and other semiconductor-related activities and coordinate with external auditors and prepare supporting schedules and documentation.
• Develop and maintain accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls; perform internal reviews to identify control gaps and process improvements while owning accounting processes within NetSuite and drive improvements in workflows, reporting, controls, and automation.

Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 7–10+ years of progressive accounting experience , preferably at the Accounting Manager, Senior Accounting Manager, or equivalent level.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and hands-on experience with financial close and reporting.
• Strong NetSuite experience.
• Experience with internal controls and supporting external audits and demonstrated ability to manage and develop accounting staff.
• Advanced Excel skills with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities and attention to detail.
• Semiconductor industry experience, particularly in a fabless semiconductor company.
