Senior Accounting Manager

Pay Range: $150,000-$170,000 Exempt

 

DailyLook is seeking an experienced Senior Accounting Manager to join our accounting team.  

Qualifications for the Position

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Financial Management, or a closely related field of study.
• Six (6) years of experience as an Accountant, Auditor, Assurance Senior, Assurance Manager, or related role.
• Certified Public Account (CPA) license required.
• 3 years of management experience.
• 6 years of experience with SOX 404 compliance and internal controls.
• 6 years of experience with GAAP and Financial Reporting.
• 6 years of experience in public accounting, including auditing public companies in accordance with PCAOB standards and SOX compliance.

Responsibilities

• Report directly to the VP of Accounting and Finance.
• Utilize deep understanding of GAAP, SOX compliance, leadership skills, and management skills to oversee accounting operations, ensuring accounting accuracy and supporting strategic financial decision-making.
• Oversee core areas of accounting including but not limited to Revenue, Inventory, Intercompany Transactions, Payroll, AP, Accruals etc.
• Play a key role in the month end financial statement close process by preparing, reviewing and analyzing accounting entries and account reconciliations.
• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and other financial regulations.
• Partner with Finance to manage budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Lead audits and coordinate with internal and external auditors.
• Implement and improve accounting processes and internal controls.
• Supervise and mentor accounting team members.
• Partner with finance and other teams.
• Work closely with the VP of Accounting and Finance for other responsibilities (i.e., special projects, ERP enhancements, internal controls, and ad hoc analyses as requested).

Compensation & Benefits

The base /pay for this position ranges from $150,000-$170,000. This is an exempt position. Pay is based on a number of factors including job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
