Senior Accounting Manager (Shared Services)

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Accounting Manager to lead accounting operations within a Shared Services environment. This role is responsible for driving operational excellence, strengthening financial controls, improving processes, and supporting finance transformation initiatives across multiple business units.

The successful candidate will serve as a key business partner to stakeholders, leveraging strong accounting expertise, analytical capabilities, and leadership skills to enhance efficiency, compliance, and service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead accounting operations and ensure accurate, timely, and compliant financial processes.
• Drive process improvement, standardization, and automation initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
• Strengthen internal controls, governance practices, and compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
• Partner with stakeholders across functions to support business expansion, system enhancements, and transformation projects.
• Analyze operational and financial performance, identify improvement opportunities, and implement sustainable solutions.
• Oversee audit activities and ensure readiness for internal and external reviews.
• Lead and develop high-performing teams while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.
• Provide insights and recommendations to support business decision-making and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Accounting, or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in Audit, Accounting, Finance, Shared Services, or Finance Transformation.
• Proven experience leading and developing teams of approximately 8-15 members in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, internal controls, risk management, and accounting standards.
• Experience leading transformation, process improvement, or automation initiatives.
• Proven ability to manage stakeholders and lead cross-functional projects.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership capabilities.
• CPA qualification and Big 4 background are highly preferred.
• Experience in Shared Services, Retail, FMCG, or complex multi-entity organizations is an advantage.
