About the Role

We are hiring an Accounting Manager to own the accounting and reporting work for a portfolio of US clients, with a focus on construction. You will manage multiple client engagements at the same time and lead a team of accountants.In the first phase, you will execute all client work yourself so you learn our workflows, standards, and clients in detail. Once you have shown consistent quality, we will hand over full client ownership and team leadership to you.

Key Responsibilities

Manage the full accounting cycle for multiple US clients at once, including bookkeeping review, reconciliations, month-end close, and financial reporting.Apply construction accounting correctly, including job costing, WIP schedules, and percentage-of-completion revenue recognition.Review revenue recognition against contract terms and flag discrepancies with a proposed fix.Prepare and review recurring reporting workbooks, journal entries, and client deliverables.Reconcile bank and credit card accounts to the penny and ensure balance sheets are reconciled before sign-off.Lead, train, and review the work of team members once the team is assigned.Set priorities, track open items, and manage deadlines across all assigned clients.Communicate directly with internal leadership and clients on status, issues, and solutions.Improve processes, checklists, and documentation to keep work consistent across the team.

Requirements (applications without these will be rejected)

Hands-on experience working with US clients.Hands-on QuickBooks Online experience.Construction accounting experience (job costing, WIP, percentage-of-completion).Public accounting experience.ACCA, CMA, or CA qualified or finalist.Ability to work 9:00 AM EST to 6:00 PM EST, Monday to Friday.Fluent in English, written and spoken.

Also Required

Proven experience managing multiple clients at the same time.Experience leading or reviewing the work of other accountants.Advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills (formulas, structured workbooks, data checks).Strong self-review habits and attention to detail.Ability to work independently and hold yourself and your team to deadlines.

Preferred

QuickBooks Desktop experience.Experience with construction software such as JobTread, Procore, or Buildertrend.Exposure to payroll, sales tax, or QoE work.

Pay: Rs100,000.00 - Rs300,000.00 per month
