Senior Accounting Officer

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and update financial records and ledgers.

• Prepare, review, and examine financial statements and reports.

• Ensure compliance with financial policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

• Process invoices, payments, and receipts accurately.

• Assist with budget preparation, monitoring, and financial forecasting.

• Reconcile accounts and investigate discrepancies.

• Support external and internal audits, providing necessary documentation.

• Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial data.

• Supervise daily accounting operations and transactions (Senior role).

• Mentor and guide junior accounting staff (Senior role).

• Implement and improve accounting processes, controls, and efficiencies (Senior role).

• Analyze financial data to support management decision-making (Senior role).

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional qualifications such as CPA, ACCA, or CMA are preferred for senior roles.

• Proven experience in accounting or finance roles, with several years in relevant positions; supervisory experience is a plus for senior roles.

• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office.

• Strong analytical, organizational, and leadership skills.

• Knowledge of local accounting regulations and standards.

• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

• Experience in the food industry is preferred.
