Growing organization in the Daytona Beach area is seeking an experienced accounting professional to join its finance team. This role is ideal for a candidate with a strong foundation in general ledger accounting, financial reporting, month-end close, and accounting operations. The position offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative environment while supporting key accounting functions and driving process improvements.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage month-end and year-end close activities
• Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reports
• Maintain the integrity of the general ledger and ensure compliance with accounting standards
• Support internal and external audit requests
• Partner with operational teams to improve processes and strengthen controls
• Analyze financial data and provide insight to leadership
• Assist with regulatory compliance and accounting policy adherence

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting required
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Strong technical accounting and general ledger knowledge
• Experience with financial reporting, reconciliations, and month-end close
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• ERP system experience and advanced Excel skills preferred
• Experience within construction, homebuilding, or publicly traded environments is a plus

Compensation

• $70,000 - $95,000 annually, depending on experience
• Potential bonus opportunity
