Senior Accounts Executive

JOB DESCRIPTIONS

1) Financial Planning & Analysis

• Detail variance analysis and performance reviews for group of Companies’ business. Highlights areas of high performance or underperformance and drive corrective actions to meet company goals.
• Prepare monthly management reports and dashboards that provide clear insights into   financial health, growth metrics and performance KPIs.
• Work closely with the Finance Manager to develop, monitor and forecast Companies’ cash flow position, ensuring Companies remain solvent with cash availability for capital allocations and investments.
• Prepare and monitor the annual budget cycles for a group of Companies, work closely with Finance Manager, Top Management and department heads for resources, guidelines and strategic plans.
• Propose and improve internal controls (eg: SOP) and compliance process.
• Build and maintain robust financial models that align with operational and strategic plans.
• Work with Accounts team (AP/AR/GL) to ensure accuracy of data (incl: maintaining a proper Chart of Accounts “COA”), identify any discrepancies or unusual trends and propose corrective actions.
• Provide responsive and real time support for ad hoc financial requests from the business.

2) General Ledger & Reporting

• Handle month end and year end GL financial reporting.
• Oversee accounts payable and receivable (including cross check accounts payment).
• Balance sheet reconciliations (including related companies account reconciliations) and investigate unusual or outstanding balances.
• Coordinate and prepare audit schedules, handle auditor and tax queries and regulatory submissions.
• Liaise with company secretary, maintain proper filing of annual returns and secretarial related documents according to Companies Act 2016.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or equivalent certification is a plus.
• Minimum 2 to 3 Year(s) of working experience in the financial analysis and GL reporting role with MNC market exposure is preferred.
• Good writing and verbal communication skills in English. Ability to explain complex financials clearly to non-finance stakeholders.
• Strong Excel/Financial Modeling with good analytical skills. Proficient in reporting tools (eg: Power BI, Power Query) will be an added advantage.
• High initiative, strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail and able to meet tight reporting deadlines.
• Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively across departments, geographies and cultures.

• Able to start work immediately will be an advantage.
