Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting operations, financial reporting, GST and TDS compliance, bank reconciliation, and payroll-related activities. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with Tally Prime, MS Excel, and statutory accounting procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle bank reconciliation, verify bank statements, and track incoming and outgoing payments.
• Prepare and file TDS returns, ensure compliance, and issue TDS certificates.
• Manage GST invoicing, GST returns, payments, and reconciliation, including GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B.
• Maintain petty cash records, supporting documents, and approvals.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow statements.
• Process accounting vouchers, journal entries, ledger entries, and trial balance.
• Maintain accounting records and generate financial reports using Tally Prime.
• Ensure statutory compliance and assist with internal and external audits.
• Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoice processing, payment follow-ups, and payment scheduling.
• Process salary calculations, deductions, and applicable statutory contributions, including PF, ESI, and Professional Tax.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and variance analysis.
• Maintain financial documents, bills, tax filing receipts, audit records, and other relevant statutory documentation.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• B.Com / M.Com (Finance) or B.Com with MBA (Finance).
• 2–5 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of journal entries, ledger maintenance, trial balance, and financial statement preparation.
• Hands-on experience in bank reconciliation and identifying accounting discrepancies.
• Practical experience in GST filings, GST reconciliation, and GST audit support.
• Good understanding of TDS, Income Tax, tax challans, returns, and Form 16 / Form 16A.
• Experience in payroll processing, salary calculations, and statutory compliance.
• Knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.

Tools & Software Skills

• Tally Prime – Mandatory
• MS Excel, including VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and formulas.
• Working knowledge of GST, Income Tax, and online banking portals.

Soft Skills

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good time management and ability to meet statutory deadlines.
• Integrity and confidentiality when handling financial information.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Strong organizational and documentation skills.
