Position Summary
The Senior Manager Accounts will be responsible for end-to-end management of the company's payment operations, including vendor payments, EMI/loan servicing to banks and financial institutions, employee reimbursements, and overall banking relationships. The role requires strong control over cash flow, compliance with internal approval processes, and timely, accurate disbursements.

Key Responsibilities
Vendor Payments
Review, verify, and process vendor invoices for payment as per agreed credit terms and PO/GRN matching
Ensure TDS/GST compliance on vendor payments before release
Reconcile vendor ledgers and resolve payment disputes/discrepancies
Maintain vendor ageing reports and ensure no unauthorized or duplicate payments
Bank & Financial Institution Payments (EMI/Loan Servicing)
Track and process EMI payments to banks and FIs for term loans, vehicle loans, equipment financing, etc.
Maintain loan repayment schedules and ensure timely debits/payments with no penal charges
Coordinate with banks/FIs for loan documentation, renewals, and NOC/foreclosure letters
Monitor interest accruals and ensure accurate booking in the books of accounts
Employee Reimbursements
Manage and process reimbursements for fuel, petty cash, and Travel & Daily Allowance (TA/DA)
Verify supporting bills/documents against company policy limits and approval matrix
Maintain petty cash float, conduct periodic reconciliation and surprise audits
Ensure timely reimbursement cycles and resolve employee queries on pending claims
Banking Relationship Management
Act as primary point of contact for the company's banking partners
Manage day-to-day banking operations  fund transfers, cheque issuance, RTGS/NEFT/IMPS, cash credit/OD limits
Negotiate and monitor banking charges, forex rates (if applicable), and service terms
Ensure adequate fund availability/cash flow planning for scheduled payment obligations
Coordinate for bank guarantees, letters of credit, and other credit facilities as required
Controls, Compliance & Reporting
Ensure adherence to internal financial controls, SOPs, and approval hierarchies for all payments

Prepare MIS reports on payment status, cash flow, outstanding liabilities, and EMI schedules
Support statutory and internal audits by providing documentation related to payments
Ensure compliance with applicable statutory requirements (TDS, GST, etc.) on all disbursements

Required Qualifications & Experience
CA/CMA/MBA Finance qualification preferred
6 to 8 years of experience in accounts/finance, with significant exposure to payments and banking operations
Prior experience managing banking relationships and loan/EMI servicing is essential
Strong knowledge of TDS, GST, and statutory compliance related to payments

Key Skills
Strong command over Tally/ERP systems and banking portals (net banking, CMS)
Excellent knowledge of MS Excel for MIS and reconciliation
Strong attention to detail and control-oriented mindset
Good negotiation and relationship management skills with banks/vendors
Ability to manage a team and work under deadlines
