🌟 About the Role

We’re looking for an experienced, detail-oriented, and organised Senior Accounts Officer to join our finance and accounting team 😊

In this role, you’ll support day-to-day accounting operations, maintain accurate financial records, assist with financial reporting, and ensure transactions are processed efficiently and accurately. You’ll work closely with the finance team, management, suppliers, customers, and other stakeholders to support strong financial operations and compliance 🚀

🛠 Key Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain accurate accounting records and financial transactions
• Prepare and process invoices, payments, receipts, and journal entries 📊
• Monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable activities
• Perform bank, supplier, customer, and general ledger reconciliations
• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting
• Prepare financial schedules, management reports, and supporting documentation
• Monitor outstanding receivables and follow up on overdue accounts
• Review accounting entries and ensure transactions are accurately recorded
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash-flow monitoring
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities
• Coordinate with auditors and provide required financial documentation
• Ensure accounting procedures comply with company policies and applicable regulations
• Maintain organised financial records and documentation
• Identify discrepancies, investigate accounting issues, and recommend solutions 🔍
• Provide guidance and support to junior accounting team members when required
• Maintain strict confidentiality of financial and business information 🔐

🎓 Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field
• ACCA, CPA, CA, CMA, or equivalent professional qualification is an advantage
• Previous experience in accounting, finance, accounts payable/receivable, or a similar role is highly desirable
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
• Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar platforms is advantageous
