Responsibilities:

• Perform monthly and quarterly IFRS 17 valuation and reserve calculations in accordance with the financial close schedule, and conduct initial review of results to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Prepare quarterly and annual HK RBC reporting and disclosures, including PCA calculations, capital positions, and all associated sensitivity analyses, to meet both internal and external reporting requirements.
• Support regulatory initiatives and annual submissions, including AM Best rating exercises and ORSA, to ensure full regulatory compliance.
• Build effective working relationships across functions and divisions, establishing credibility as a reliable business partner.
• Prioritize deliverables in support of team goals, with guidance from senior management.
• Maintain and update reports and documentation in a timely manner; communicate clearly and concisely in written and verbal form, demonstrating an organized thought process.
• Demonstrate a commitment to continuous professional development and actively incorporate feedback.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or above in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related discipline, with approximately 3 years of relevant actuarial experience.
• Good progress in professional actuarial examinations (e.g., SOA/IFoA), with solid knowledge of reserving concepts and terminology.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to leverage process automation tools to enhance the efficiency of reserve, capital, and sensitivity calculations.
• Ability to work under pressure in a dynamic environment and collaborate effectively across multiple functional areas.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and deliver quality results within tight deadlines.
• Hands-on experience with AXIS, Prophet, or related actuarial modeling/programming tools is an advantage.
