Senior Actuarial Function Analyst

As part of a dynamic Actuarial Function, you will play a key role in the validation, analysis and assessment of technical provisions, actuarial models and business performance.

Your day-to-day:

• Technical Provisions Validation: Validate technical provisions, including actuarial models, assumptions, methodologies and underlying data, ensuring adequacy, reliability and regulatory compliance.
• Results & Portfolio Analysis: Analyze actuarial results through movement analysis, sensitivity and stress testing, experience analysis, portfolio monitoring and historical comparisons.
• KPIs & Management Insights: Develop and monitor KPIs and translate actuarial and portfolio data into clear insights and recommendations for senior management.
• Risk & Reinsurance Analysis: Contribute to the assessment of reinsurance arrangements and underwriting policies, analyzing their impact on risk profile, portfolio performance and technical provisions.
• Governance & Continuous Improvement: Review actuarial processes, controls and documentation, identifying opportunities to enhance models, methodologies and analytical tools.
• Collaboration & Reporting: Work with Actuarial, Risk Management, Compliance, Underwriting, Claims, Reinsurance and Finance, preparing clear reports and presentations for technical and non-technical stakeholders.

What we are looking for:

• Educational Background: Degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics or a related quantitative field.
• Professional Qualification : Actively progressing toward full Actuarial qualification.
• Professional Experience: 5+ years of actuarial experience in Insurance or Consulting firm.
• Technical Expertise : Proven experience in actuarial valuation, reserving, validation and modelling.
• Regulatory Knowledge : Good understanding of Solvency II and IFRS 17 requirements.
• Programming & Data Analysis : Good knowledge of analytical tools such as SAS, R, SQL, VBA or other relevant data analysis software.
• Analytical Skills: Strong quantitative and analytical capabilities, with the ability to assess complex datasets and derive meaningful conclusions.
• Reporting & Collaboration: Ability to prepare clear reports and presentations, communicate effectively and build strong relationships across functions.
