Senior Actuary

For our client, we are seeking a Senior Actuary to join the team of a leader in the Hospitals & Medical Centers space.

This role will support healthcare-focused financial analysis and actuarial decision-making across designated markets. You will evaluate risk adjustment results, build statistical models, and help translate complex data into equitable insurance benefit outcomes. The position partners closely with market stakeholders to ensure accurate calculations, strong data quality, and reliable financial insight in a regulated environment.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $134,600 – $249,000 annually

Responsibilities

• Run and analyze market-level results using risk adjustment models
• Serve as the team's point of contact for designated markets
• Apply mathematical and statistical methods to calculate financial outcomes
• Develop probability tables from statistical data analysis
• Determine equitable distribution of insurance benefits

Qualifications

• 7+ years of actuarial experience with ASA, or 5+ years with FSA designation
• MAAA membership required
• Healthcare actuarial experience preferred, particularly with Medicaid
• Strong skills in SQL and large-scale data analysis
• Detail-oriented with a focus on data validation and quality assurance
