What they need
Qualified Actuary
Job requirements:
Pricing, reserving, reinsurance, capital modeling, solvency, and regulatory reporting.
Proficiency in tools like Excel (advanced), Emblem, Radar
Knowledge (intermediate to expert) in coding languages such as SAS, R and/or python
Statistical modeling & analytics - Exposure to GLMs, loss triangles, and trend analysis.
Understanding of IRDAI regulations, Solvency II, IFRS 17, and financial condition reporting.
Experience
8-10 years of experience in the actuarial domain (Qualified actuary) , with at least 3 years of experience in pricing and in the Indian General insurance industry
Experience in general insurance actuarial teams—especially in pricing, reserving, or reinsurance.
Exposure to product development and portfolio profitability reviews.
Prior interaction with regulators, auditors, and management reporting.
