What they need

About Damora Therapeutics

Damora Therapeutics, Inc. (Nasdaq: DMRA) is a Boston-based biotechnology company working to fundamentally redefine care for patients with blood disorders. Damora is advancing a new generation of subcutaneous biologics targeting mutant calreticulin (mutCALR)-driven myeloproliferative neoplasms, including essential thrombocythemia and myelofibrosis — chronic hematologic cancers with significant unmet need. The company’s lead program, DMR-001, is an investigational monoclonal antibody designed to selectively target mutant calreticulin, with additional programs (DMR-002 and DMR-003) advancing behind it.

Position Summary

The Senior Administrative Assistant provides dedicated administrative and coordination support to Damora’s Clinical Development and Clinical Operations functions as the company advances its first-in-human trials. This role serves as a connective layer across Clinical, Regulatory, Translational, and external partners, keeping clinical leadership organized, meetings and travel running smoothly, and clinical program logistics on track. The right candidate operates with a high degree of ownership — anticipating needs, managing complex and shifting priorities, and resolving coordination gaps without step-by-step direction. The role provides shared, priority-driven support across clinical leadership rather than dedicated 1:1 assistance.

Key Responsibilities

Clinical Administrative Support

  • Provide day-to-day administrative support to the Clinical Development and Clinical Operations teams, including calendars, meeting logistics, and document coordination.
  • Coordinate logistics for investigator meetings, advisory boards, site initiation visits, and other clinical program events.
  • Support preparation, formatting, and distribution of clinical study materials, presentations, and cross-functional meeting agendas and minutes.
  • Track clinical vendor and CRO administrative activities, including purchase orders, invoices, and contract renewal timelines, in partnership with Clinical Operations and Finance.
  • Coordinate travel, expenses, and scheduling for clinical leadership, visiting investigators, and external consultants.
  • Maintain organized tracking and filing systems for clinical program documentation and correspondence.

Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Support onboarding logistics for new clinical team members and contractors in partnership with People and IT, including systems access and first-day readiness.
  • Serve as a connective layer among Clinical, Regulatory, Translational, Finance, and external partners such as CROs and investigator sites.
  • Own recurring clinical administrative processes and support selected cross-functional clinical projects.
  • Identify and resolve operational gaps proactively, without requiring step-by-step direction.
  • Provide broader administrative coverage across the clinical function where needed, within agreed priorities.

Executive Support

  • Provide executive support to defined Clinical leaders.
  • Coordinate complex, multi-party meetings, travel, expenses, meeting preparation, correspondence, and follow-up.
  • Anticipate conflicts and requirements, and handle confidential information with appropriate discretion.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in administrative, coordinator, or program support roles, ideally supporting clinical, medical, or scientific teams.
  • Demonstrated experience coordinating complex meetings, events, or program logistics involving multiple internal and external stakeholders.
  • Experience supporting senior leaders or scientific/clinical staff with calendar management, travel, expenses, and meeting coordination.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent workstreams and shifting priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Experience tracking budgets, purchase orders, invoices, or vendor/CRO contracts within defined authority.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with a professional, service-oriented demeanor.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365, including Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, and Excel.
  • High degree of discretion, reliability, and independent judgment, with comfort operating without close direction in a fast-growing startup environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Biotech or pharmaceutical industry experience, particularly in clinical-stage or startup companies.
  • Experience coordinating investigator meetings, advisory boards, or scientific conferences.
  • Familiarity with clinical trial terminology and workflows (e.g., CROs, IRBs, protocols, site management).
  • Experience supporting remote executives or distributed teams across multiple locations.

What Success Looks Like in the First Year

  • Clinical leadership has a reliable partner: calendars are tight, meetings are well-prepared, and travel runs smoothly.
  • Investigator meetings, advisory boards, and clinical program events are well-organized and run without last-minute scrambling.
  • New clinical team members and contractors consistently report a smooth, well-organized onboarding experience.
  • Clinical vendor and CRO administrative activity is well managed: purchase orders and invoices flow cleanly, and contract renewals are surfaced ahead of deadlines.
  • Cross-functional coordination between Clinical, Regulatory, and external partners is proactive, smooth, and reliably well-documented.
