Senior Administrator - Azure DevOps

OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE

As a Senior Administrator specializing in Azure DevOps and Terraform within HCLTech's Support & Operations team, you will play a pivotal role in delivering advanced technical support and ensuring operational excellence in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) environments. This role is integral to troubleshooting complex incidents, conducting root cause analysis, implementing robust solutions, and maintaining the highest standards of customer satisfaction and security. You will be instrumental in driving continuous improvement and supporting HCLTech’s mission to provide industry-leading services.

DETAILED RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide advanced technical support utilizing Terraform and Azure IaaS/PaaS to resolve complex incidents in a timely manner, ensuring compliance with service level agreements.
• Conduct thorough root cause analysis for escalated incidents, implementing effective solutions to address technical and security issues within Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) environments.
• Maintain and update the knowledge base, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives and providing training and coaching to junior analysts.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex support tickets, reinforce the organization’s security posture, and ensure seamless operations.
• Enhance customer experience by ensuring effective first-call resolution, minimizing rejected resolutions and re-opened cases, and proactively mitigating potential security threats.
• Participate in operational reviews, incident management, and process optimization initiatives to uphold and improve quality standards.

SKILL REQUIREMENTS

• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.
• Strong knowledge of Azure IaaS and PaaS services.
• Experience with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) for container orchestration.
• Familiarity with incident management processes and root cause analysis methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Educational background in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
• Must-have skills: Azure DevOps, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), IaaS - Azure, PaaS - Azure, Terraform.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS (OPTIONAL)

• Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate and Hashicorp Certified: Terraform Associate are highly valued.
• Experience with additional cloud platforms or automation tools is a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
