A career as a Senior Advisor, Innovation and Performance within the Insurance Sales and Distribution team at National Bank means acting as a strategic partner in the sector’s transformation and innovation journey.

In this role, you will have a direct impact on the organization’s growth and performance through your expertise in innovation, artificial intelligence, and the development of high-value technology initiatives. You will help identify, design, and implement innovative solutions that optimize sales, increase team capacity, enhance both client and employee experiences, and support the sector’s growth ambitions.

Your Role

• Lead innovation and transformation initiatives aligned with the sector’s strategic priorities and growth objectives.
• Identify, prioritize, and recommend innovation, artificial intelligence, and automation opportunities aimed at improving business performance, productivity, and the client experience.
• Develop and evolve the innovation roadmap to accelerate the transformation of distribution practices and support business ambitions.
• Coordinate the development, testing, deployment, and adoption of new digital solutions in collaboration with business partners and specialized teams.
• Assess the business value, feasibility, risks, and impacts of initiatives, and formulate strategic recommendations based on performance indicators.
• Monitor emerging trends, technologies, and business models to identify relevant opportunities for the insurance sector.

Your Team

Within the Insurance sector, you will join the Sales and Distribution team, which plays a key role in business development, the evolution of distribution practices, and the achievement of National Bank Insurance’s growth objectives.

You will contribute to transforming the way we work, advise, and serve our clients by leveraging innovation and emerging technologies to deliver tangible business results.

You will work closely with Distribution, Technology, Data, and Risk teams to design and integrate innovative solutions across our various distribution channels.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of eight years of relevant experience, or a Master’s degree and a minimum of six years of relevant experience.
• Significant experience in innovation, digital transformation, business strategy, or the development of technology-driven initiatives.
• Strong understanding of generative artificial intelligence, large language models (LLMs), automation, and emerging technologies.
• Solid understanding of distribution, advisory, and sales environments within the financial services or insurance industry.
• Experience evaluating, prioritizing, and implementing high-value business initiatives.
• Knowledge of experimentation principles, proof-of-concept methodologies, change management, and large-scale deployment practices.
