Senior AEO Program Director (Senior Delivery Director)

About Foundation Foundation helps B2B tech and SaaS brands get found, cited and recommended when their buyers ask AI for solutions. We do it through Generative Engine Optimization (GEO): the research, content, distribution and optimization that build a brand's presence across LLMs, search, Reddit, YouTube and the sources they draw on.

The role You run delivery for a $3M+ portfolio: either two or more delivery teams, or a flagship enterprise program that needs its own team. You lead other Program Directors and senior strategists, and you set the delivery standard everyone else follows. When a large client's team wants a straight answer on where things stand and what happens next, they get it from you.

On our enterprise accounts, AEO Program Directors lead the dedicated team that delivers the work: the plan, the people and the quality. AEO Marketing Directors own the client relationship, the strategic roadmap and the account's growth. You're client-facing every week, and the key relationship, renewals and expansions sit with the AEO Marketing Director.

Reports to: a Group AEO Marketing Director. Team: 8-15 people, including other Program Directors or senior strategists who lead teams of their own.

What You'll Own

• Delivery across the portfolio: one plan per client across every channel, with milestones, owners and dates, delivered on time and to standard
• Portfolio margin. You set effort estimates, staff to the hours budget and fix teams that drift
• Your leaders. You hire, develop and manage Program Directors and team leads, and decide who works on what
• Executive delivery conversations: working sessions, roadmap reviews and escalations with senior client stakeholders, alongside the AEO Marketing Director
• Capacity planning across the portfolio: when to hire, when to rebalance, and when a team is too full to take a new client
• Delivery standards and process across your teams, often holding a capability-lead role for one discipline

What you bring

• 10+ years in agency delivery, strategy or client services, including 4+ leading managers
• Experience running a $3M+ portfolio of multi-channel B2B marketing programs, including at least one enterprise account
• A strategist's background: you can review and improve the work, not just schedule it
• Strong commercial instincts on scope, effort and margin
• Working knowledge of how AI search is changing B2B buyer discovery

Compensation

• Base salary $120k-$145k depending on experience and location
• Variable compensation: Target 15% of base, paid quarterly on portfolio margin, client retention and delivery quality. Where you land in the range depends on experience. US ranges may be adjusted for cost of labor in your state. Benefits are on top of base
