Senior AI Automation & Integration Engineer

We are seeking a Senior AI Automation & Integration Engineer to bridge the gap between field operations, customer management, and core administrative processes. This role focuses on designing, building, and maintaining automated workflows and AI-driven systems tailored to our business needs. You will leverage artificial intelligence, cloud APIs, and automation tools to streamline operational workflows such as client estimation, crew dispatching, automated scheduling, and CRM/ERP integrations.

Responsibilities

• Integration of AI Bots: Implement LLMs (OpenAI, Claude) and Computer Vision APIs to build and deploy smart customer chatbots, automated site/property measurement tools, intelligent proposal generation, and AI-driven lead scoring.

• Build, optimize, and maintain bidirectional custom integrations between our CRM and Field Service Management platforms, ensuring flawless data synchronization for leads, estimates, work orders, and customer history.

• Design, test, and deploy automated workflows, connecting HubSpot, Aspire, QuickBooks Online, and internal communication channels using Make, n8n, Zapier, or custom scripts.

• Leverage AI and API automation within the FSM platform to streamline crew scheduling, dynamic weather-based rescheduling, and route optimization.

• Continuously monitor API endpoints, webhooks, and sync logs between CRM, FSM, and financial tools to prevent data duplication, troubleshoot errors, and guarantee high system uptime.

• Partner directly with Operations and division leads to identify manual tasks, proposing and deploying high-impact AI/automation solutions.

• Enforce data privacy, secure API key management, and standard compliance across all data flows between sales, operations, and accounting platforms.

• Support leadership with experimental AI pilots, custom reporting dashboards, and evaluations of emerging landscaping/FSM technologies.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in software integration, backend engineering, or workflow automation.

• Proven experience working with enterprise CRM and FSM platforms, including custom webhooks, REST APIs, and custom property mappings.

• Track record of building production-grade automations using Make, n8n, Zapier, or custom scripts.

• Demonstrated experience integrating AI APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google Gemini) and cloud services into existing business software.

• Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, and SQL.

Required Education & Skills

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Systems Engineering, Information Technology, or related technical fields.

• Fluent English (C1/C2 level required) with exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
