Senior AI Data Engineer

For our client, we are seeking a Senior AI Data Engineer to join the team of a leader in the Enterprise Technology space. This role will lead work at the intersection of data, AI-enabled capabilities, and scalable technology delivery. You will partner with business, technical, and operational stakeholders to build reporting, surface trends, and translate analysis into action. The position offers the opportunity to strengthen data-driven execution and help teams focus on the metrics that matter most within a technology-driven environment.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $119,000 – $154,000 annually

Responsibilities

• Design and build production AI systems for marketing
• Architect and maintain marketing databases and customer data platforms
• Collaborate with BI team on conversational analytics
• Automate manual workflows with AI from concept to production
• Establish new data pipelines end to end for newly onboarded tools
• Ensure reliability and data quality of the systems built
• Translate ambiguous business needs into scalable technical solutions

Qualifications

• 5+ years in data engineering or AI engineering, hands-on experience necessary
• Proficient in Python and SQL with robust data modeling background
• Experience building systems using LLMs or agents in production
• Familiarity with agentic coding tools to enhance productivity
• In-depth understanding of data warehouse architectures, ETL/ELT
• Ability to lead requirements gathering and identify automation opportunities
• Strong communication skills suitable for both technical and non-technical audiences
