Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior AI Developer with strong expertise in Python, FastAPI, AI/ML, and Generative AI technologies. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying enterprise-grade AI solutions, scalable REST APIs, and cloud-native microservices. The role requires hands-on experience in machine learning model development, LLM integration, data engineering, and production deployment on modern cloud platforms.

Key Responsibilities

AI & Machine Learning Development

• Design, develop, and deploy AI/ML solutions for business-critical use cases.
• Build and optimize machine learning models using TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Scikit-Learn.
• Perform feature engineering, data preprocessing, model training, evaluation, and tuning.
• Implement Generative AI solutions leveraging OpenAI, Hugging Face, and other LLM frameworks.
• Support end-to-end ML lifecycle including experimentation, deployment, and monitoring.

Backend Development

• Develop scalable applications using Python and FastAPI.
• Build enterprise-grade RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Design secure, high-performance, and maintainable backend architectures.
• Integrate AI models and business applications through APIs and service layers.

Cloud & DevOps

• Deploy applications on Azure, AWS, or GCP environments.
• Containerize applications using Docker and orchestrate workloads using Kubernetes.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test, and deployment.
• Utilize logging, monitoring, and API gateway solutions to ensure application reliability.

Collaboration & Leadership

• Work closely with Data Scientists, Architects, Product Owners, and Business Stakeholders.
• Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, and technical governance.
• Mentor junior developers and promote engineering best practices.
• Drive technical excellence and innovation across AI initiatives.

Must-Have Technical Skills

Core Development

• Advanced Python programming.
• Hands-on experience with FastAPI (Mandatory).
• Strong expertise in RESTful API and Microservices development.
• Strong understanding of software design patterns and scalable architecture.

AI / ML

• TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-Learn.
• Supervised and Unsupervised Learning techniques.
• Model evaluation, tuning, and optimization.
• Machine Learning lifecycle and production deployment.
• Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), OpenAI, Hugging Face.

Data Engineering

• Pandas, NumPy.
• Data preprocessing and feature engineering.
• Data analysis and transformation techniques.

Cloud & DevOps

• Azure, AWS, or GCP.
• Docker and Kubernetes.
• CI/CD pipeline implementation.
• API Gateway, Logging, Monitoring, and Observability tools.

Good-to-Have Skills

• LangChain, LangGraph, Semantic Kernel.
• Vector databases such as Pinecone, FAISS, ChromaDB, or Milvus.
• RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) architectures.
• MLOps practices and model monitoring.
• Kafka or RabbitMQ.
• GraphQL APIs.
• Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Foundry, AWS Bedrock.
• AI Security and Responsible AI practices.

Educational Qualifications

• Cloud, AI/ML, or Generative AI certifications will be an added advantage.

Preferred Experience

• 812+ years of software development experience.
• Minimum 35 years of hands-on AI/ML development experience.
• Proven experience deploying AI solutions into production environments.
• Experience building scalable, enterprise-grade cloud-native applications.
• Prior experience with Generative AI and LLM-based solutions in production environments.
