Senior AI Engineer

We’re working on a Senior Engineering role with a top financial firm in Chicago’s Agentic AI Engineering team to help shape how AI is used in production-critical software development at scale. You'll build AI agents, MCP servers, retrieval systems, and evaluation pipelines that make AI-generated code reliable, auditable, and ready for real-world use. The firm seeks strong computer science fundamentals, experience in Java or Python, and a proven track record of contributing to production or developer-facing systems. This role is a hybrid, leaning more onsite in Chicago Loop.

Required: Along with Java or Python, needing prior experience designing, developing, or implementing AI agents, agent frameworks, or autonomous workflows, with the ability to translate emerging AI capabilities into practical engineering solutions.
