Senior AI Infrastructure Engineer - EDA Infrastructure

For our client, we are seeking a Senior AI Infrastructure Engineer - EDA Infrastructure to join the team of a leader in the Telecommunications & Hardware space.

This role will focus on building and operating the infrastructure that powers telemetry, visibility, and operational clarity across diverse environments. You will partner closely with engineering and operations teams to standardize instrumentation, improve service insight, and strengthen the workflows that support reliability and execution. The work will also include creating trusted infrastructure catalogs and self-service discovery capabilities that help teams move faster with better information.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $184,000 – $356,500 annually

Responsibilities

• Build and operate scalable telemetry pipelines for diverse clusters
• Establish instrumentation and access patterns for consistent telemetry generation
• Deliver dashboards and analysis tools for improved service visibility
• Standardize incident and maintenance workflows for operational excellence
• Integrate operational data to improve communication and organizational learning
• Build trusted catalogs for infrastructure inventory and service documentation
• Provide self-service discovery capabilities for operational clarity

Qualifications

• BS degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience
• 8+ years of experience in infrastructure platform engineering or tooling
• Proficiency in Python, Go, Typescript, or Java
• Strong understanding of software and infrastructure principles applied in production environments
• Ability to lead cross-functional initiatives involving multiple teams and disciplines
