Our client is a fast-growing technology company developing innovative digital products and AI-powered solutions for international markets. With a strong focus on engineering excellence and scalability, the company is investing in modern AI infrastructure to support its next generation of products. They are looking for a Senior AI Platform Engineer to join their engineering team and build the shared infrastructure, frameworks, and tooling that enable AI-powered applications across the organization.

The Role

You'll play a key role in designing and maintaining a scalable, reliable, and cost-efficient AI Platform used by multiple engineering teams.

Combining Backend Engineering, Platform Engineering, and applied AI, you'll develop reusable services, support LLM-based applications, and establish best practices for deploying and monitoring AI solutions in production.

The position offers significant technical ownership, autonomy, and collaboration with engineering and product teams.

What You'll Bring

• 5+ years of experience in Software Engineering, Backend Engineering, or Platform Engineering
• Strong experience building backend systems and distributed services in production
• Proficiency in Python and backend API development
• Hands-on experience developing AI-powered applications using LLMs and agentic architectures
• Understanding of RAG, prompt engineering, AI guardrails, and evaluation frameworks
• Experience with LangChain, LangGraph, ADK, CrewAI, or similar frameworks
• Experience with cloud platforms such as GCP, AWS, or Azure
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code, cloud-native architectures, and observability
• Strong problem-solving, ownership, and cross-functional collaboration skills

Nice to Have

• Previous experience in a Platform Engineering team
• Experience with FastAPI and Google Cloud Platform
• Familiarity with PostgreSQL, BigQuery, Firestore, and RabbitMQ
• Experience with Terraform
• Knowledge of Grafana, Prometheus, Langfuse, Sentry, or incident.io
• Experience optimizing AI applications for reliability, performance, and cost

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable AI platform infrastructure
• Develop reusable frameworks, libraries, APIs, and shared services
• Support the development and deployment of LLM-based applications and AI agents
• Establish best practices for prompt engineering, AI guardrails, and evaluation
• Implement monitoring, tracing, observability, and incident management solutions
• Improve platform reliability, performance, and cost efficiency
• Collaborate with engineering and product teams to deliver scalable solutions
