Senior AI Python Developer

Prague | Hybrid | Full-time / Contract

We are looking for an experienced Senior Python Developer with a strong focus on Generative AI and Agentic AI to join an international product engineering team in Prague.

You will work on the development of advanced AI-powered solutions, integrating LLMs, RAG pipelines and AI agents into real-world products. This is an opportunity to build production-grade AI systems , contribute to their architecture and influence technical decisions.

What will you work on?

• Design, develop and optimize backend services and microservices in Python .
• Build and enhance AI agents, multi-agent systems and orchestration frameworks .
• Develop RAG pipelines, LLM integrations and tool/function calling capabilities.
• Work with embeddings, vector databases and AI evaluation frameworks .
• Deploy and maintain scalable AI services using Docker, Kubernetes and cloud technologies .
• Improve system performance, reliability, testing and CI/CD processes.
• Contribute to the architecture and technical direction of AI solutions.

What are we looking for?

• 4+ years of hands-on Python development and a strong software engineering background.
• Experience with Python backend development, APIs and microservices (ideally FastAPI, asyncio).
• Practical experience with Generative AI, LLMs and AI-powered applications .
• Familiarity with RAG, embeddings, vector databases or agentic AI concepts .
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure or GCP).
• Understanding of CI/CD, automated testing and software engineering best practices .
• English for everyday communication in an international environment.

Nice to have

• Experience with LangChain, Hugging Face, PyTorch or similar AI frameworks.
• Vector databases such as Qdrant, LanceDB or alternatives.
• LLMOps / MLOps , AI evaluation, observability or LLM-as-a-judge.
• Experience with MLflow, Kubeflow, ArgoCD or GitOps .
• Knowledge of SQL/NoSQL databases, Kafka or distributed systems.
