Senior AI/Agentic Systems Engineer

Masentó is working with a global pharmaceutical company that requires a Senior AI Agentic Systems Engineer to join their team on a 3-6 month contract.

This will be outside IR35 and can be based in Poland, Portugal, Spain or UK

Key Responsibilities

• Design and own the foundational architecture for a multi-agent orchestration system
• Accelerate delivery of core agentic infrastructure ahead of a pre-prod milestone by year end
• Guide integration patterns across multiple platforms and existing programme systems
• Mentor/direct more junior agent developers on the team
• Ensure observability is built into the agent architecture from the outset

Experience

• Proven, production (not just POC) experience building complex agentic/multi-agent AI systems
• Strong AWS expertise, specifically Amazon Bedrock, Bedrock Agent Core, and end-to-end knowledge base implementations
• Systems integration experience across multiple platforms/programmes
• Experience implementing or integrating MCP servers
