Senior Analyst, Finance

Maybank Investment Banking has been in Asia for 40 years and provides services in corporate finance, investment banking, debt markets, equity capital markets, derivatives, retail and institutional securities broking and research.

Responsibilities

·         Handle full sets of accounts and financial reports for MIB Hong Kong entities

·         Prepare management reports and financial schedules to Management and Group Finance

·         Prepare Financial Resources Rules (“FRR”) returns and client monies reconciliation to ensure compliance with SFC requirements

·         Handle client inward and outward payments and conversion

·         Coordinate with teammates in other regions for intra group financial reporting

·         Coordinate with external parties such as banks, SFC, auditor and tax representatives on respective matters

·         Handle other ad-hoc requests and tasks as required by Department head and Management when necessary

Requirements

·         University degree holder with relevant professional qualifications or above

·         At least 5 years’ relevant working experience, preferably in the securities sector

·         A team player with initiatives to learn and develop

·         Able to work under pressure and to meet tight reporting deadline

·         Attentive to details and hardworking

·         Good command of written and spoken English and Cantonese, proficiency in spoken Putonghua will be an advantage

·         Knowledge in using accounting software, SAP, is a plus

·         Strong PC knowledge such as Microsoft Office etc. Knowledge on VBA will be a plus

·         Senior title will be considered for candidate with more experience
