Role Purpose:
 
Manage budgeting, analysis, and financial reporting services by supporting the systems and tools for compliance and the delivery of reliable financial information to the finance function within the organisation in accordance with accounting standards and legislative requirements.
 
Key Accountabilities:
 
Prepare and consolidate internal, external and statutory reports on a timely basis to inform financial status, issues and performance

• Manage the technical aspects of management reporting and analysis of organisation's financial performance to ensure completeness and accuracy, recommending appropriate
  actions and adjustments to facilitate planning and decision making
• Develop and implement systems, tools and processes in collaboration with key stakeholders to deliver meaningful improvements and the highest quality outputs and outcomes
• Continuously monitor ongoing reporting to ensure policies are consistently applied and reports are accurate and timely to support the achievement of business outcomes
• Lead the development and implementation of templates, databases, data collection systems, data analytics and other strategies and solutions that optimise statistical efficiency and quality using best
  practice methodologies and industry recognised standards and processes
• Produce reports, visualisations and recommendations to answer complex business problems that are presented in the most appropriate format to ensure clarity for target audience
• Assist with developing and implementing policies, procedures and standards for preparation of input into analytics to continually improve the quality, accuracy, efficiency and timeliness of reporting
• Assist with process improvement initiatives, including the maintenance and development of financial systems, review and clean-up of master data and other cross-agency initiatives to improve the accuracy and efficiency of financial reporting processes
