Responsibilities:

• Research and evaluate emerging NextGen technologies and product concepts
• Design, develop, and test Proof-of-Concepts (PoCs) for core network and new product initiatives
• Participate in system architecture design and end-to-end development for NextGen solutions
• Support DevOps activities for new products; act as a pilot role during the soft/initial launch stage to validate workflows, tools, and rollout
• Maintain and enhance product development infrastructure, such as GitLab repositories, lab environments, and CI/CD pipelines
• Provide ongoing support for production systems and troubleshoot technical issues
• Collaborate with business units and cross-functional teams to gather and refine technical requirements
• Support Patent, software copy, innovative project initiatives and application

Requirements:

• Degree holder in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering or related disciplines

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in telecommunication/information technology industry

• Knowledge of network technologies such as 5G SA, IMS, and 4G is highly preferred

• Familiarity with Open Gateway APIs is an added advantage

• Programming languages: Proficient in Golang, Python, C++, C#, Bash scripting; experienced with NoSQL databases (MongoDB/Redis/etc), relational databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL/MSSQL etc), and development tools such as Git and Docker

• Knowledgeable in Kubernetes and related cloud-native solutions, including container orchestration, microservices architecture, and scalable infrastructure design

• Good command in both spoken and written English and Chinese (Cantonese & Mandarin)

• Candidate with less experience will be considered as Analyst Programmer
