Senior Analyst Programmer/ Systems Analyst

About the role

We are seeking a talented, proactive and motivated IT professional to join our project team to provide system analysis, design, implementation, and maintenance support web application systems for our customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect requirements and analyze what the business needs.
• Collaborate on technical feasibility studies, system design, and the drafting of technical documents, including design specifications.
• Collaborate on coding, building, testing, and deployment.
• Participate in issue resolution, including analysis, recommendation, and rectification.
• Assist in creating and maintaining technical documentation for knowledge transfer and compliance
• Experienced candidates with a strong background in system architecture and team leadership may be considered for the Systems Analyst position or above.

Qualifications & IT Experience Requirements

• Higher Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related disciplines.

Analyst Programmer: Minimum 3 years of IT experience, focusing on Java web application development, implementation, and support.

Systems Analyst: Minimum 4 years of IT experience, including 2 years in system analysis, design, and implementation, with a strong background in Java web applications.

Technical Proficiencies:

• Frontend: JSP, JavaScript, JQuery, HTML5, CSS3, ReactJS
• Backend & Frameworks: Java, OpenJDK, Spring Boot, JPA, Hibernate, Tomcat
• Database & Reporting: SQL Server, MySQL, Oracle DB, JasperReport, Spire Office
• OS: Windows Server, Redhat Linux
• IDE: IntelliJ, Eclipse

Soft Skills & Certifications:

• Self-motivated, responsible, able to work independently, and highly committed to project schedules.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to explain technical concepts to both cross-functional teams and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Systems Analyst: Leadership or team management experience is required. Project management skills and PMP certification are highly preferred.
