Senior Analytics Engineer

We are seeking a hands-on Senior Analytics Engineer to build and maintain data infrastructure, develop business intelligence solutions, and deliver actionable insights across operations, purchasing, and sales.

In this role, you will own end-to-end data solutions, from extracting and transforming raw data to developing analytical models and interactive dashboards. You will initially focus on establishing a demand planning model and a centralized SQL database, working closely with executive leadership to improve forecasting, inventory management, and business decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Data Engineering & Integration: Connect to ERP systems and other data sources to extract, transform, and consolidate operational data into a centralized SQL database.
• Demand Planning & Forecasting: Develop demand planning models using historical consumption, seasonality trends, stock availability, and forward-looking demand projections.
• Business Intelligence & Reporting: Build and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards using DAX to track business performance, forecast accuracy, variances, and inventory requirements.
• Data Modeling: Design and maintain clean relational or dimensional data models that support reliable reporting and analysis.
• ETL & Automation: Develop and maintain data pipelines and automation scripts to streamline recurring data ingestion and reduce manual spreadsheet processes.
• Business Analytics: Investigate customer purchasing trends, margin variances, supplier lead-time reliability, and inventory bottlenecks to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with executive leadership, operations, purchasing, and sales teams to translate business requirements into practical data solutions.
• AI-Enabled Development: Leverage AI-powered tools to accelerate script development, troubleshoot technical issues, improve DAX calculations, and explore new analytical approaches.

Qualifications

• 3–6+ years of experience in data analytics, analytics engineering, business intelligence development, or a similar data-focused role.
• Strong SQL skills, including CTEs, joins, aggregations, and window functions.
• Hands-on experience with Power BI, DAX measures, dashboard development, and data modeling.
• Practical experience with ETL processes, REST APIs, JSON/CSV data feeds, and Python scripting or automation.
• Knowledge of relational or dimensional database design and data management.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills, including trend analysis, moving averages, and basic statistical concepts.
• Experience using AI-powered developer tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, or GitHub Copilot to support coding, troubleshooting, and technical problem-solving.
• Ability to work independently, learn new business domains quickly, and take ownership of end-to-end data solutions.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to translate complex business requirements into actionable insights.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing, consumer packaged goods (CPG), supply chain, or e-commerce.
• Familiarity with NetSuite or other ERP systems.
• Experience with demand planning, inventory analytics, forecasting, or Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP).

Pay: Php200,000.00 per month
