Senior Analytics Engineer

We’re looking for a senior Analytics Engineer / BI Lead to own the Channel Insights analytics layer from end to end. You’ll define the semantic layer, build dashboards and calculated insights in Tableau Next and Data 360, and present verified insights to leadership. This isn’t a report-ticket queue. You’ll own the metrics, stand behind the numbers, and be the person leadership trusts when a figure shows up in an executive readout.

AI copilots and agents are a daily part of this role. You’ll use them to speed up discovery, build, testing, and documentation, while staying fully accountable for every output that reaches production or the executive team.

What You’ll Do

• Own Channel Insights metrics, dimensions, and refresh SLAs alongside the CDP product owner and Data Expert
• Build calculated insights and dashboards in Tableau Next and Data 360, writing SQL and SOQL as needed
• Validate data quality with the data modeler and engineer, and fix breaks at the source, not downstream
• Train field users through hands-on working sessions
• Use AI to draft SQL, datasets, and insight narratives, then verify every number before it reaches an executive readout
• Automate anomaly commentary on Channel Insights where it’s trustworthy, and escalate false positives
• Build automation into quality gates to reduce cycle time and cost-to-outcome compared with legacy delivery

What You Bring

• 5+ years of experience in analytics engineering or as a BI lead
• Expert-level Tableau or equivalent BI platform experience
• Strong SQL skills and experience owning a semantic or metrics layer, not just building dashboards on top of one
• A track record of data storytelling for executives and field leaders
• Hands-on experience using AI copilots or agents in analytics delivery, with rigorous human verification
• A strong sense of ownership over data quality and the accuracy of what you present

Nice to Have

• Experience with Salesforce Data 360 (formerly Data Cloud), Tableau Next, or Salesforce CRM Analytics
• SOQL experience and familiarity with the Salesforce data model
• Experience automating anomaly detection or alerting in BI environments
• Background in channel, partner, or sales analytics
