Senior Application Delivery & Edge Security Engineer

Role Overview

We are looking for a Senior Application Delivery & Edge Security Engineer with 8–10 years of experience and strong hands-on expertise in F5 Load Balancers . The role involves application delivery, load balancing, WAF, CDN, edge security, troubleshooting, and enterprise platform support across on-premises and cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Configure, manage, and troubleshoot F5 BIG-IP / LTM environments.
• Support application onboarding, migration, and traffic-management solutions.
• Manage WAF, CDN, SSL/TLS, DNS, and application security policies.
• Troubleshoot complex L1–L7 network and application issues.
• Perform performance optimization, capacity planning, and resiliency improvements.
• Collaborate with network, security, cloud, and application teams.
• Participate in incident management, on-call support, and change activities.
• Create technical documentation, runbooks, and architecture diagrams.
• Support security audits, assessments, and remediation activities.
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to team members.

Mandatory Skills

• F5 Load Balancers / F5 BIG-IP – Mandatory
• F5 LTM, Virtual Servers, Pools, Monitors, Profiles, Persistence, SSL/TLS, and iRules.
• Strong knowledge of HTTP/HTTPS, DNS, TCP/IP, TLS, routing, and switching .
• WAF and application security knowledge.
• Understanding of OWASP Top 10 .
• Experience with enterprise application delivery environments.

Good to Have

• A10, AVI, Citrix ADC
• Cloudflare / Akamai
• AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Scripting and automation
• CDN and edge security

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 8–10 years of relevant experience.
• Strong enterprise experience with F5 Load Balancers .
• Experience supporting cloud and security platforms.
