Senior Application Engineer

Overview

We're a cloud first organization modernizing our business applications and moving off legacy systems onto a modern Microsoft stack. We're also expanding our use of HubSpot, bringing in additional modules alongside our existing Sales and Marketing Hubs. We're looking for a hands on engineer who can bridge development and infrastructure, serve as the internal technical lead on our HubSpot expansion, and help modernize the applications and data structures behind it.

What You'll Do

• Serve as the internal technical lead on HubSpot implementation work, partnering with and guiding our third party implementation firm to make sure deliverables align with internal requirements and standards
• Design, build, and maintain integrations between HubSpot and internal systems using .NET/.NET Core and REST APIs
• Lead the modernization of legacy applications and older frameworks onto a modern Microsoft/Azure stack
• Help redesign and streamline data structures in partnership with internal data teams
• Work with business teams and other departments to gather requirements and translate them into CRM customizations and workflows
• Contribute to Azure architecture decisions for the applications and integrations you build and support

What We're Looking For

• 7+ years of software development experience with C#, .NET/.NET Core, and API design and development
• Hands on Azure experience (App Services, Functions, Logic Apps, API Management, or similar)
• Experience implementing, customizing, or integrating a CRM platform (HubSpot preferred; Dynamics 365, Salesforce, Zendesk, or ServiceNow also considered)
• Experience modernizing or migrating legacy applications
• Comfortable working with outside consultants and vendors, and holding them accountable
• Strong communicator who can work across technical and non technical teams

Nice to Have

• HubSpot Service Hub experience
• Infrastructure as code (Terraform, Bicep, ARM) and CI/CD pipelines
• SQL and data modeling experience
